SALVATION ARMY KINGSTON HARBOUR LIGHT
The Salvation Army Kingston Harbour Light, a residential dependency treatment facility, was opened at its present location on Princess Street in 1986 to address the problems of alcohol and drug abuse by men of Eastern Ontario. It is partially funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, allocated regionally from the ministry’s East Region Office.
The Kingston Harbour Light’s continuous intake prioritizes admission to the City of Kingston and Frontenac County, current residents of the Southeastern Ontario Health District, and then residents of other areas of the Province of Ontario.
