MCDOUGALL HOUSE

McDougall House Association is a residential drug treatment for Alberta women suffering from substance abuse. This organization is a 14-bed facility. Special accommodations for pregnant women are available so that mother and baby can be safe throughout the treatment. The treatment program in itself is standard with group counselling. Additionally, there are also workshops to help women recover and exercise. Although exercise is less present than counselling, it can benefit body health and morale. This program also includes educational activities where women can learn about different subjects.
